Personal Biography
My name is Michelle. I am 29 years old with two children Emily who is in full time education and James who is at pre school age. I live with my partner Van and a small friendly dog called Pepsi.Up until becoming a childminder I have worked at Frimley Hall Hotel & Spa as a Reservations Co-ordinator. During my 10 years in the hotel, I have worked from a chambermaid to a Reception Manager, all skills that I feel have helped greatly with my own children.
Childminding is something that I have always wanted to do, but due to professional circumstances have never had the opportunity to explore.
Now that I have two young children of my own, I feel now the time is perfect for both myself and my children.
I have qualifications in Childcare, Health & Social Care & first aid. During this time I have had work experience in several schools, nurserys and home placements.
I also worked at Portesbury school in camberley, in the holidays for two years while at college studying Health & Social Care.
My partner is a catering manager and a fully qualified chef who has worked in schools and office environments where nutrition and quality of food is a must. I hope to incorporate his expertise and experience when preparing and varying foods prepared to & with the children. My partner excels in cake making and enjoys making wedding and children's cakes in his spare time.
I love to spend time with my family and like nothing more than watching them enjoy their day. I love music and can play the flute efficiently, to which I hope to teach Emily one day.
I live in Camberley close to local schools, shops, parks and a Children Centre. We are close to a local bus route and in the town is a train station. We attend playgroups and activities whenever possible and we also visit the local library regularly.
I hope to provide a placement that is happy, calm, but full of activities. I am a great lover of routine & rules. Sharing, being kind to one another and having fun are my main wishes.
I hope to offer child care all year round, focusing between the hours of 7am and 6:30pm, although other requests will be considered.
