Smiles Facilties
At smiles a lot of time and effort has been put into developing a fun and friendly environment for the children. Some of the facilities available include a dedicated playroom, computer facilities, garden facilities, play equipment and safety equipment.
Playrooms
In our playroom we have a role play area, activity area, computer area, play mats, painting and drawing, play kitchen, bookshelves and activity drawers.
On our Smiles wall we have important information for parents', children's work displayed, and information about daily activities and a development chart guide for myself and parents.
The living room is used for quiet time, stories and snack times and occasional TV or DVD.
Garden
The secure gargen consists of play equipment such as slides, swings, cars, bikes, sand pit and a children's garden.
We are currently re-developing the garden. Unfortunately the garden is not currently in use and is awaiting Ofsted inspection.
Play Equipment
Various play equipment is available at Smiles including bricks, puzzles, jigsaws, activity books, painting, drawing and many more. The toys avalable are suitable for children of all ages.
Safety and Security
Safety and secuirty are of the upmost importance at Smiles Childcare. We strive to protect your children from potential dangers around the house to prevent unnecessary accidents. Gates, drawer locks, and guards are used to prevent children entering less safe areas.
